Pauline Grassi, 75, Pine Plains, died Jan 20 at Sharon, CT. Born in Italy Jan. 19, 1924, she was the dau of Paul Plate and Louisa Maschi. She married Joseph Grassi on Oct. 30, 1947 in Italy. He survives, along with dau Louisa Kaestle and grandson David Kaestle, Pine Plains; sisters Maria Gugliemetti, Pierina Sartori, Carla Illari, brother Giovani Plate, all of Italy. A brother, Carol Plate, and a sister Angela, died previously.
