Johann Hus died last Fri. morning of kidney disease. He was born 10 Nov. 1827 near the city of Hof in Bavaria, and came to America with his parents and sisters in 1852 when they settled in Saxenburg. His wife died 10 yrs. ago. He leaves a daughter and 2 sons, all married. Burial was last Sun. afternoon in the Saxenburg Cemetery. (Published in Der Nord Westen, 21 Oct. 1897)
