Rita (Fordyce) Viertel, 58, formerly of Lewistown died Friday, May 29th, 2009, in the Idaho Falls Hospital after an extended illness partially due to the encephalitis virus she had contracted years earlier. Memorial Mass for Rita (Fordyce) Viertel will be Thursday, June 11, at 11 a.m. in St. Leo's Catholic Church. The Cloyd Funeral Home & Cremation Service is assisting the family.
