Funeral services for Edward E. Leischner, 65, will be Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Salem United Church of Christ with the Rev. Fred A. Sprenger officiating.

The body will lie in state at the church Monday from noon until time of service. Burial will be in the Parkslon Protestant cemetery under the direction of the Mehlhaff-Hasson Funeral Home.

Mr. Leischner, a retired farmer, was born Oct. 19, 1900 in Hutchinson County to Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Leischner and died Aug. 12 at the local hospital shortly after admission. On April 24, 1932 he married Martha Tiede in Hutchinson County.

Survivors include his widow; one son, Calvin; two daughters, Mrs. Martin Zirpel and Mrs. Marlys Zirpel; one brother, Alfred; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Serr and Mrs. Reinhold Tiede, Parkston, and eight grandchilden, all of Parkston.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.
