Pauline Blevins, 82, died Sunday, October 18, 1998, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law following a long illness.
Born in Shady Valley, Tenn, on April 16, 1916 to the late C. W. and Annie McQueen. She moved to Pomona Park in 945, where she made her home until a few years ago. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Olney, Md.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Blane Blevins, and also a daughter, Christine Blevins.
She is survived by her children, Peggy and Charles James of Laurel, Md., Gloria and Jimmy Barnsley of Olney, Md., Dean and Punky Blevins of Pomona Park, Jacky and Dana Blevins of Palatka, and Sandra and Richard Smith of Laurel, Md.; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Edgar McQueen of Shady Valley, Tenn.; sisters, Viola Blevins of Shady Valley, Tenn. Wilcie Fleenor of Blountville, Tenn.; and Glenna Trent of Kingsport, Tenn.
Graveside services will be at Eden Cemetery on Monday, 1 p.m.
