Elenora C. Scherbring
NEW VIENNA, Iowa -- Elenora C. Scherbring, 99, of New Vienna, died Tuesday, April 24, 1990, at Oak Crest Manor, Dyersville.
Services will be at 10:30 am Friday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Vienna. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 3 pm Thursday at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where the scripture service will be at 7:30 pm.
Mrs. Scherbring was a homemaker.
She was born on Sept. 7, 1890, in New Vienna, daughter of Henry J. and Mary Bernadine (Vaske) Funke. She married Henry Scherbring on Jan. 10, 1917, in New Vienna; he died Feb. 23, 1919.
Mrs. Scherbring lived with her daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Henrietta) Lueck of New Vienna.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Hubert (Marie) Westhoff of New Vienna and Mrs. Lawrence (Henrietta) Lueck; and five grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandchild.
