Mrs. Caroline Augusta Frey, 90, Hermann, died Sunday at Hermann Area District Hospital, where she had been a patient since Jan. 24.

She was born Dec. 31, 1890, in Osage County, a daughter of William and Henrietta Bohl Apel. On Oct 7, 1909 at Pershing, she was married to George P. Frey, who died Dec. 29, 1966.

Mrs. Frey was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ at Hermann; St. Paul's Women's Fellowship; American War Mothers; VFW Ladies Auxiliary; and Rebecca Lodge.

Survivors include: Nine Daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Wilson, Auxvasse, Mrs. Alice Jordan, Caruthersville, Mrs. Nadine Diederich, Mexico, Mrs. Geneva Garver, Denver, Colo., and Mrs.Florence Mueller, Mrs. Elizabeth Grannemann, Mrs. Edna Horstmann, Mrs. Ardene Kemper, and Mrs. Arlene Johnson, all of Hermann; Two sons, Roland Frey, Mexico, and Marvin Frey, Navato, Calif.; 41 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for two P.M. Wednesday at St. Paul's Church, with Rev. James Elliot officiating. Burial, under the direction of Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann, will be at Hermann Mausoleum.
