Clemens Baier, native of Germany and resident of Fontana for 12 years, died yesterday at a San Bernardino hospital at the age of 70. A carpenter by trade, Mr. Baier had resided in California 26 years and in the United States 62 years. Surviving are his widow, Lillie B. Baier; a brother, Alfred of Tacoma, and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Spiekerman of Saltese, Mont. He was a member of the carpenters' union of Los Angeles and the Orange lodge, Odd Fellows.
Rosary will be recited tonight at 7:30 at the Ingold chapel, Rialto, by the Rev. Fr. Thomas King, Services are to be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Ingold chapel, with interment In Rialto Park cemetery.
