Edd Feller of Bronaugh, a resident of Vernon county since 1898, died Wednesday night at the Main Street Hospital in Fort Scott, Kas., where he underwent an operation two weeks ago. Mr. Feller had been in ill health for the past year and for the past two weeks his condition had been critical. He was 76 years old.
Mr. Feller was born in Indiana, the son of Christian Feller and his wife, Elizabeth, and moved with his parents to Illinois when he was a child. He was reared in Illinois near Effingham and married there September 13, 1882, to Miss Elizabeth Faunce. In 1898, Mr. and Mrs. Feller and his family moved to Missouri and located in Vernon county, which had since been Mr. Feller's home. Mr. Feller was a member of the Lutheran church and had left his membership in the church near Effingham, of which he was a member.
Mr. Feller leaves his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Feller; five daughters, Mrs. Pearl Thompson and Mrs. Carrie Holland of Bronaugh, Mrs. Merle Shearburn of El Dorado, Kas., Mrs. Faye Baer of Wichita, Kas., and Miss Dicy Feller of the home address; and five sons, Earl Feller of Bronaugh, Glenn Feller of Tulsa, Okla., Morris and Roy Feller of El Dorado, Kas., and Burnard Feller of Borger, Tex.
Funeral services for Mr. Feller will be held Saturday at the Christian church at Bronaugh and burial will be in Worsley cemetery. The hour of the service will be announced later. Mr. Feller's body was brought to the Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
