Ruth Christine Stork, 90, of Rosebush passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at Isabella County Medical Care Facility.

Funeral services for Ruth will be held on Sunday, June 11th at 2 p.m. from Clark Funeral Chapel with Rev. Alec Brooks and Lorraine McGuinness officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 10th from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, June 11th from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral chapel. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Envelopes will be available at Clark Funeral Chapel.

Ruth was born on May 30, 1916, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Oscar and Linda (Huber) Maeder. She married Ivor Stork on August 1, 1935. Ruth worked for Gulf Gas Station in Rosebush with her husband, Central Michigan Community Hospital as an insurance clerk and Central Michigan University in the payroll department. After retiring, Ruth worked as a receptionist for the Isabella County Commission on Aging. She was a member of the Rosebush Presbyterian Church.

Ruth is survived by her children, Jim (Ruth Ann) Stork of Milford, IN, Margaret Huffman of Weidman, Doug (Millie) Stork of Clare and Nancy (Doug) Jackson of Weidman; Eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren; sisters, Florest Ardursere of Tulsa, OK, Burness Nethers of Mt. Pleasant, Jeanette Smith of Texas and Catherine Evans of South Bend, IN and her 2nd family, The Medical Care Facility, and the cats, Jake and Fluffy.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Ivor Stork in 1973; son, Ron Stork on August 19, 1955; son-in-law, Dan Hoffman on August 26, 2002; sisters, Evelyn Bozer, Elva Nothstine and Belva Moore and brothers, Jay C.
