Mrs. Alma Braden Lloyd, 86, of Rome died Wednesday morning at a Rome hospital.
A native of Floyd County, Mrs. Lloyd was born, March 29, 1907, daughter of the late Charles Bascom Braden and Effie Penn Braden. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Brethren Assembly of Rome. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Marshall Lloyd, March 16, 1983. to whom she was married June 12, 1929.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Russell Ragsdale, Rome, and Mrs. Richard Argo, Rockmart; a sister, Mrs. Ann Nix, Shannon; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel of Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Loyd and the Rev. W. C. Ruchti officiating. Interment will be at Salmon Cemetery.
