Funeral services for Laurence R. Kieninger, 80, Dillsboro, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dillsboro, with burial in Oakdale Cemetery, Dillsboro. Ulrich-Filter Funeral Home, Dillsboro, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Kieninger died Sunday, March 2, at his home.

He was a chemical operator at Monsanto, and retired in 1982 after 20 years at the Addyston plant.

He was a retired member of the Dillsoro Volunteer Fire Department, an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Northcutt-Laaker American Legion Post No. 292, Dillsboro, a memberof the 50 Plus CLub, Dillsboro, and a member of the American Association of Retired Persons, Dillsboro.

He was also a director of the Oakdale Cemetery Association.

He is survived by his wife, Glenna M. Kieninger; two daughters, Jean Acre, Versailles, and Beverly Stephens, Yorkville; tow borthers, Clarence and Leslie Kieninger, Pocohantas, Mo.; three sisters, Eileen Kieninger, Jackson, Mo., Lavera Barlow and Elvera Cutter, both of Dillsboro; four grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Southeast Indiana, the Dillsboro Volunteer Fire Department, the Oakdale Cemetery Beautification Fund, or the charity of the donor's choice.
