Leo J. Wagner, 75, of Rt. 3, Chilton, Town of Brothertown, died Sunday afternoon at home. He had been ill three months Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffe r Funeral Home, Chilton, and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Jericho. The" Rev. Walter Tuschel will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Graveside military rites will be performed by the Grassold-Schmidlkofer American Legion Post 125 of Chilton.

Leo J. Wagner was born May 25, 1893, at Johnsburg, Fond du Lac County, son of the late John and Katherine Freund Wagner. He was a farmer and superintendent for the Town of Brothertown for 23 years. He married Gertrude Hansen Feb. 25, 1919, at Jericho. Mr. Wagner was a member of the American Legion post, the Holy Name Society and a World War I veteran.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Robert Lobenstein, of Mauston, Wis.; two sons. Gilbert and Erwin, of Rt. 3, Chilton; three brothers, Alfred and Herbert, of Fond du Lac and Edwin, of New Holstein: four sisters, Mrs. Martha Laudolff, Mrs. Mary Laudolff and Mrs. Ida Laudolff, of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Clarence Nelson, of St. Paul, Minn.; and 12 grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
