Mrs. Mabel E, Gallagher, wife of Fred Gallagher of Bellwood, Pa., died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Emma Speck Goss, 727 Mount Vernon Avenue, Huntingdon, Pa., at 12:40 a. m. Monday, April 24, 1944, after a lengthy illness. Born in Juniata Township, Huntingdon County, December 21, 1897, she was a daughter of Daniel Speck (deceased) and Emma Speck Goss. She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Huntingdon. Surviving are her husband and mother and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Vernon Vaughn, Mrs. Earl Pollock, Mrs. John Hess, all of Huntingdon; Mrs. Lewis Dunlap of Altoona, and Pvt. Walter Goss of Camp Blanding, Florida. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon at the Fuoss funeral home in Bellwood. Interment will be made in the Bellwood Cemetery
