COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 10/23/2011
HEEB - Dr. Carl R., 80, of Louisville, passed away Friday, October 21, 2011 at Baptist Hospital East. Born in Cincinnati, OH, and an Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a retired dentist of 48 years and a member of St. Martha Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Virginia Coomes; and brother, Robert Heeb. He is survived by his sons, Tim Heeb (Sue) and Steve Heeb; daughter, Linda Wentzel (Paul); brothers, Michael Heeb (Pat) and Bro. James Heeb, SVD; grandchildren, Stephanie, Jacob, Hayden, Andrew, Mary K. and J.D.; and one great-grandson, Caleb Carl. His funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2011 at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2825 Klondike Lane, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. X High School or Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, KY.
