Mrs. Mathilda Alvina Cylinda Reiter was born to Ferdinand W.G. Rohloff and his wife Johanna on June 7, 1885 in Sharon township.
She entered the holy bonds of matrimony with Albert Reiter on Oct. 31, 1911. This union was blessed with four children, one daughter, died as an infant on March 30, 1922.
The Reiters made their home on the farm west of Henderson Her husband died December 17, 1933 and for several years she remained on the farm with her children. For a few years she kept house for her brothers and then moved to Le Center where she made her home.
She leaves to mourn her death two sons, Alvin (Ruth) of Henderson, Raymond (Virginia) of Blakely; a daughter Mrs. Edna (Alden) Kewitsch of Le Center.Five grandchildren also survive Robert and Ruth Ann Reiter of Henderson, Allen, Marjorie and Ardelle Kewitsch of Le Center. Four brothers survive Julius, William, Edward, and Ben, two sisters Mrs. Augusta Heldberg of Cleveland and Louise Plack of Madison S.D..
