Mrs. Roy Corsbie Succumbs; Rites Set For Tuesday
Mrs. Louise Rhoda Corsbie, 52, wife of Roy M. Corsbie, 806 Napoleon street, died at 4:20 a.m. Sunday in Porter Memorial hospital. Death was due to a coronary thrombosis attack suffered Saturday night in Hebron, where she had gone with her husband. She was brought in the hospital after the attack.
The decedent was born in Valparaiso March 9, 1897, a daughter of William and Augusta (Affeld) Rhoda. On July 3, 1916, she was united in marriage to Roy M. Corsbie in Valparaiso.
Surviving are the husband; two sons, Harold L. Corsbie and Herman E. Corsbie, both of Valparaiso; one daughter, Mrs. Lester R. Barkley, of East Chicago; and one brother, James Rhoda, of Valparaiso. Two sisters, Margaret and Bertha Rhoda, and four brothers, Benjamin, Herman, Hans and Henry, preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Mothers' Auxillary of the Delta Theta Tau Sorority.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bartholomew funeral home, 102 Monroe street, with the Rev. D. A. Flesner, of Trinity Lutheran church, officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
Friends may call at the Bartholomew funeral home from 7 to 9:30 o'clock this evening and from 9 a.m. and up until time of services Tuesday.
