Marvin Paul Horndt, 82, of Columbus, passed away on October 18, 2011 in Bryan, Texas.
He was born on October 22, 1928 to Paul and Annie (Balzer) Horndt in Shaws Bend, TX.
Marvin was a retired Truck Driver for Seymours and Colorado County Oil. On October 24, 1953 he married Clara Becker. He was a member of V.F.W.
Marvin is survived by his daughter, Kathy Horndt Bagley of Bryan, TX, son, Tommy Horndt and wife Marilyn of Pflugerville, TX, grandchildren, Rev. Benjamin Bagley and wife Sabrina, Victoria Bagley, Kyle Horndt, and Zachary Horndt, great-grandchildren, William Bagley, and Wesley Bagley.
He was preceded in death by wife, Clara Becker Horndt, father, Paul Horndt, mother, Annie Balzer Horndt, and brother, Clarence Horndt.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011, at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Columbus, TX, with Rev. Gary Bagley & Rev. Benjamin Bagley, officiating. Burial will take place in the Brune Cemetery in Shaws Bend, TX.
