FLORENCE MAN DIES SUDDENLY

Jouquin Lozano, 66, of 502 N. Petroleum, Florence, died suddenly about 3 p. m. Tuesday at his home following a heart attack.

Mr. Lozano was born August 16, 1890 in Mexico and moved to Fremont county 38 years ago. He was a retired packer for Ideal Cement Co. at Portland, where he resided for 30 years. He had lived in Florence the past eight years.

Mr. Lozano married Felicie Trujillo at Pueblo on January 1, 1924. She died in 1937. Four children survive: Herman Lozano of the Air Force stationed at Wilmington, Del., Mrs. Angelina Valdez and Mrs. Fedelina Tadilla, both of Pueblo and Lorenzo Lozano of Florence. There are 10 grandchildren.

Mr. Lozano was a member of the St. Benedict Catholic church in Florence. Mass will be held Monday at 9 a. m. from St. Benedict's church with rosary services from the church at 7 p. m. Sunday. The Rev. Kevin Carr, OSB, will officiate at both services. Rosary will be held from the Florence mortuary chapel following the other services Sunday evening. Interment will be in Union Highland cemetery.
