His wife Gladys (FEIGENHAUER) THEUS died June 7, 1981 in a Parma Heights, Cuyahoga county nursing home at age 75. Their son, Bernard W. THEUS died June 17, 1994 at Deaconess Hospital, Cleveland at age 67, divorced. Pete's siblings: Joseph M. THEUS died October 1962; Rose JONES, Mrs. Albert (Anna) DVORAK died December 1961; and Frank THEUS. His mother, Mary, died September 1935 at age 71.
