Theresa Tholen, 77, Grinnell, died on Monday, February 26, 2007 at Gove County Medical Center, Quinter.

Theresa was born on December 12, 1929 in Hays to John Wolf and Mary Eilers Wof.

She was a lifetime area resident of Grinnell and a homemaker. Theresa was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, St. Mary's Altar Society, both of Grinnell, and Wheatland VFW Post #2864 Ladies Auxiliary.

She married Alvin L. Tholen on September 2, 1952 in Grinnell.

Survivors include her husband of the home, a daughter Denise Wolf; two sisters, Elizabeth Sheesley and Mary Agnes Tholen; and two grandsons.

Those preceding her in death were her parents and a brother George Wolf.

Funeral service was held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2007 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Grinnell with Fr. Michael Elan, CMI and Fr. Basil Torrez officiating. Burial was in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Grinnell.

Memorials may be made to the Wheatland-Grinnell School District and Grinnell Senior Center. Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, Oakley was in charge of arrangements.
