Died at her home in Shell Rock Township on the 8th of December 1897, Mrs. Lina Neuenschwander, aged 33 years. Funeral services were held at the family residence conducted by Rev. J. W. Funk, which were attended by a large concourse of sympathizing friends and relatives. The body was laid to rest in the family cemetery. The deceased leaves a husband and five children to mourn her loss. Lina was a kind and indulgent mother and loving wife, was a Christian woman and beloved by all who knew her.
