Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Younger, who died Feb. 25, at her home in Glendale, CA, were held Feb. 27 at Glendale. Burial was at Forest Lawn, Glendale.
Marie Fricke was born to Henry and Alvina Fricke on Aug. 31, 1879, in Wisconsin. She came to Nebraska in the early 1880's in a covered wagon with her parents and sister, Kate. Her parents homesteaded in the Winnetoon vicinity. In 1905 she was married to John Younger. They resided in Glendale most of their married life. Mr. Younger died in 1944.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister, Mrs. John Isaacson and four brothers, Oliver, Elmer, William and Henry. She is survived by one sister, Miss. Emma Fricke and one brother, Vernon of Winnetoon.
