Sylvia Sanchez, 59, peacefully went to be with the Lord at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 5, 2011.
Sylvia was a loving wife and an amazing mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a computer operator for over 15 years with Levi's Strauss & Co. She was also owner of Amanda's Jewelry and loved music and praising the Lord and spending time with her grandson, Daniel Jagger.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Otilia S. Lopez and her father, Leopoldo Salinas Gonzalez.
Sylvia is survived by her loving husband, Jesus Sanchez; sons, Michael Sanchez, Daniel (Joann) Sanchez; daughter, Amanda Sanchez; grandson, Daniel Jagger Sanchez; sisters Elva (David) Elizondo of Los Fresnos, Mary Hernandez, Amelia Bocanegra, Lupita Oliveira, Glendy Franco, Janie Vega all of Houston; brother, Leo Salinas, Jr., of Houston and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4pm to 9pm with a prayer service at 7pm on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A chapel service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
