Mrs. Laura M. Kaestner who died Tuesday evening at her home was buried Friday from the Wittkopp funeral home. The Rev. H. Schmid officiated and interment was in the Union cemetery.
Mrs. Kaestner was the daughter of the late Valentine and Gustine Pfeil and was born March 11, 1862 in the town of Rhine. Her marriage with Albert H. Kaestner was solemnized on March 1, 1886. The couple settled four miles southeast of Plymouth, where they remained until 1914, when they moved to Plymouth in a residence at 1924 Kensington Avenue. Mr. Kaestner died on December 2, 1919.
Those who survive Mrs. Kaestner are three daughters, Mrs. Carl Juers, formerly Miss Norma Kaestner, who lives north of Plymouth; Mrs. A. DeMunck, who was formerly Miss Claudia Kaestner and who lives in Theinsville; and Miss Mae Kaestner, who is the proprietor of a ladies' ready-to-wear shop in Plymouth. One son, Elmer J., lives on the homestead. Mrs. Kaestner also leaved to mourn her death eight grandchildren, one sister and three brothers.
