He was born Oct. 24, 1846, in Leppedetmund, Germany and at the age of 20 years came to this county, living for a time in Missouri. He then went to Fond du Lac and in 1866 to Plymouth where he worked at the P.H. Smith Store. Later Mr. Rehm located on a farm north of the city. He had been living with his daughter for the past 12 years.
Mr. Rehm had been married twice, both wives and a son preceded him in death..
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Clara Bleck, Sheboygan, Mrs. Martin Heise, Kewaskum, Route 1, and Mrs. Emil Hoffman, Plymouth, one son, Clarence, Route 2, Kewaskum,; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a sister-on-law, Mrs. Minnie Matzdorf, Plymouth.
Funeral services will be at Wittkopp Funeral home, the Rev. Martin Schmidt, pastor of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran church officiating, with interment in Union Cemetery.
