The widow of the late Bernhard Lotz died at the family residence, on West Main Cross street, about 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, after a protracted illness with abcess of the stomach. Mr. Lotz was born in Waldeck, Germany, in 1824, and was therefore in her 61st year of her age. She came to this country in 1846. She leaves three grown sons--George, Henry, and Benjamin. The funeral took place from the family residence at 10:30 this morning. The services were conducted by Rev. Judd, of the Louisville Lutheran church. The remains were put in Springdale Cemetery vault.
