FIRST MARRIAGE LICENSE

A Wisconsin Couple Came Over Yesterday,
Got a License and were Made Man and Wife

The first marriage license issued this year was for Jess W. Stead, 38 years of age, of Lena, Wis., and Miss Alta M. Dennis, aged 30 years, of the same place the couple came over yesterday, procured their license were made man and wife and returned to Wisconsin the same day.
The second couple to get a license was Fred A. Siemers, of Williams, Iowa and Miss Anna Lueck of New Vienna, this county.
The number of licenses issued last year being over 500, all former records being broken.
