Lottie Korchmar, 88, of Brownsville, Centerville Borough, died Saturday, November 19, 2011, in St. Lukes Hospital, Jacksonville, Fla.

She was born April 16, 1923, in Ontario, a daughter of the late Michael Sr. and Ann Repa Stotka.

Mrs. Korchmar was a 1941 graduate of Centerville High School.

She was a longtime member of St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown, where she was a member and past president of Christian Mothers of the Church.

Mrs. Korchmar enjoyed baking, sewing, playing bingo and traveling to Florida to spend time with her family.

She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was a kind-hearted person willing to do anything for anyone. She was a truly wonderful woman, both inside and out.

On October 27, 1945, she married Joseph E. Korchmar, who died July 3, 2007.

Surviving are two children, Maryann Siler (David) of Jacksonville and Joseph M. Korchmar of Concord, N.C.; four grandchildren, Jason and Sean Korchmar, both of Charlotte, and Amanda and Justin Siler, both of Jacksonville; two brothers, Thomas Stotka (Henrietta) of Brook Park, Ohio, and Leonard Stotka (Priscilla) of Aliquippa; three sisters, Frances Krivan of Aliquippa, Josephine Acromite of Lincoln Park, Mich., and Genevieve Saflin (Joseph) of Brownsville; and 52 nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are seven brothers, John, Walter, Edward, Michael Jr., Victor, Joseph and William Stotka; and two nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 26, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Michael Church of the St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown, with the Rev. Paul Grunebach as celebrant. Entombment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill. A parish vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Heart Association, 15120 Collections Center Drive, Chicago, IL 60693.
