Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Andrew's Catholic church for Wolfgang (Joe) Ippisch, 89, who died Wednesday afternoon at the Morris Sorensen Memorial hospital.
He had lived in the Kittitas valley since 1887.
Born in Germany August 25, 1860, Ippisch came to the United States in 1886 and lived in LaCrosse, Wis., for a year before coming to Ellensburg. Except for several years when he lived in Montana, he had resided here since that time. He was employed by the Northern Pacific railroad until his retirement in 1910.
Surviving are three sons, Joseph, Omaha, Neb.; George, Ellensburg, and Albert, Lonepine, Mont.; four daughters, Mrs. Theresa Hagen, Ellensburg; Mrs. Anna Bauble, Bason, N. Y.; Mrs. Frank Basl, Stayton, Ore., and Mrs. Harold Brown, Ellensburg; 19 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
