Thurman J. Ross April 15, 1921 - December 10, 2011 Thurman J. Ross went to Heaven on Saturday, December 10, 2011. Thurman was born in Pateau, Oklahoma on April 15, 1921. On March 12, 1941 he married Rosa Lee Oliver the love of his life. They raised 3 children Deanna Boel, John Ross and Ken Ross and enjoyed 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Thurman farmed in and around the Bakersfield area as well as in Oklahoma for approximately 75 years. Thurman was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Ross, 5 brothers, 1 sister and 1 great- grandchild, Jonah Boel. Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, on Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00pm. A memorial service will be held at the same location on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers the family request that you make donations to West Side Family Fellowship, P.O.
