Hertel, 88, formerly of Lincolnshire, will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, Deceember 11, 2011 at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 East Northwest Highway, Palatine. Family and friends will meet for an interment service at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 East Euclid, Arlington Heights.

Patricia was the loving wife of William E. for over sixty years; beloved mother of William (Jane), Cindy (Donald), and the late Larry; and dear grandmother of Rachel and Cindy Jo.
