Mrs. August F. Gerber, 59, a resident of St. Clair, Mo., died Friday afternoon at St. Francis Hospital, Washington, Mo. She had been ill about five months.
Mrs. Gerber was born July 21, 1897, at Belleville, Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kretchmer. She was married to August F. Gerber, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Dr. Louis A. Gerber; her mother, Julia Kretchmer; two brothers, Adolph and Louis Kretchmer; and one sister, Mrs. Theodore Wisch.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at the St. Clair Catholic Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City.
