Mrs. Sauer Dies At 78
~Mrs. Peter J. Sauer, 78, of 519 N. Arch St., died Monday at her home.
~Services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
~St. Anne's Society will recite a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday followed by a public Rosary at 8:15 p.m. Both rosaries will be recited at the Kreuger-Schriver Mortuary.
~Mrs. Sauer was born June 25, 1885, in Follmer, Russia. On Nov 3. 1905, she was married to Peter J. Sauer in Follmer. They came to this country in 1908 and settled in Aberdeen. She was a member of St. Ann's Society and the Christian Mothers.
~Survivors in addition to her widower include three sons, John and Val, both of Aberdeen, and Peter, Jr. Whittier, Calif.; and five grandchildren. Two sons, one daughter, four brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

Sauer Rites Conducted
~Services for Mrs. Peter J. (Barbara) Sauer, 78 of 519 N. Arch St., were held Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Henry Hoerner officiating. Burial was in St. May's Cemetery.
~Members of St. Ann's Society and the Christian Mothers attended in groups. Honorary pallbearers were Mrs. John Becker, Mr. Elizabeth Schuck, Mrs Barbara Weigel, Mrs. Andrew J. Nicholas, Mrs. Marcella Bauman and Mrs. Johanna Kinder. Active pallbearers were John Be ker, Nick Shishnia, Bernard Moffenbier, F. G. Tonner, LeRoy Carter and Joe Ochs.
~Mrs. Sauer died Monday at her home.
~The Kreuger-Schriver Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
