E. Vornsand Funeral Held Here Sept.30
Funeral services for Edgar W. Vornsand,62,of Weimar were held Wednesday,Sept.30,from Hubbard Funeral Chapel,Rev.Ernest Dean officiated.
Mr.Vornsand died Sept.29 at Youens Memorial Hospital,where he had been a patient for nearly a month.
A lifelong resident of this area,he was born Dec.14,1918,in the Wildwood community,a son of Willie G. and Frieda (Hartmann) Vornsand.
He served in the Army during World War II,from 1942 to 1945.He was employed 34 years in the feed business,with McCall Sanders,Henry Beken Jr.,and Henry L. Beken.
He was a member of the American Legion post. here and Weimar United Church of Christ.
Pallbearers were Harry Knebel Jr.,Bob Stutts,Edwin Knebel,Hilliard Till,Henry L. Beken and Henry Beken Jr.
