Hugo Vornsand Succumbs at 56;Buried Monday
Funeral services for Hugo William John Vornsand,56,were held Monday at Hubbard Funeral Home and Weimar United Church of Christ,with Rev.Frank H. Horak Jr. officiating.
Mr.Vornsand died Saturday,April 20,at San Jacinto Hotel after five years' illness.
A farmer and dairyman,he was born near Shiner on Dec.16,1911,the son of William and Frieda Hartmann Vornsand.He was about 3-years old when the family moved to the Weimar area.He married Miss Elsie Wienken of Columbus on June 28,1938,and they settled on a farm near here.
Pallbearers were Harvey Vornsand,Jimmy Vornsand,Irddie Vornsand,Edgar (Buddy) Vornsand,Arthur Oncken and Alex Seydler.
