James M. Stewart, for many years a resident of Calvin Township, died at the home of his grand daughter, Mrs. Rady Brown, Monday, July 14. The remains were taken to Chain Lake church, where the funeral was conducted by Rev. W. O. Allen, assisted by Rev. J. N. Viney. Burial was made in Lake View cemetery. Deceased was 79 years, 5 months and 27 days of age.
