Mrs. Sadie Strohm Peiffer, 83, wife of George J. Peiffer, of 1915 Pine St., Avon Heights, died Thursday in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Solomon and Lydia Ann Mease Behney, and was a member of the Lebanon Rescue Mission. In addition to her husband, she is survived by the following children: George W. Strohm of Rockwood; James W. Strohm of Cleona; Margaret, wife of Ralph Smith, Lebanon; William Strohm of Avon Heights, Solomon Strohm of Wernersville, and a step-daughter, Jennie, wife of James Daub, Jonestown R.D. 2, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The Rev. Lester S. Miller of the Lebanon Rescue Mission, conducted funeral services this afternoon for Mrs. Sadie Strohm Peiffer, nee Behney, wife of George J. Peiffer, 1915 Pine St., Avon Heights. Services were held at the Rohland Parlors, Fifth and Cumberland Sts. Interment was in Ebenezer Cemetery. Pallbearers were James DeHart, Sterling Leffler, Lee Ritz and Frank Billich.
