She was married to John Fry, February 8, 1878, at Forreston, Illinois. They came to Grundy County, Iowa, in 1880 and since 1892 have resided in Sibley
Aside from her husband, she leaves daughters, Mrs. John Rose, Mrs. H.A. Koopman. Mrs. Heye Grave and Mrs. Lew Altman of Sibley and Mrs. Lena Veenker of George.
Two sons, Herman Fry died March 12, 1913, and Peter Fry, August 11, 1913. A three-year-old daughter died in Grundy County.
She also leaves brothers and sisters, Mrs. A. Molendorp, Allendorf; A. Davids and Udde Davids, Sibley; and Marin Davids, Montan
The deceased was a splendid woman, good neighbor, active in many good works
