Barbara Mee Bevers, 6208 Lenox Court, died Tuesday evening, 1982, at Presbyterian Hospital. Mrs Bevers was a life long resident of OKC. After graduating from Classen High School, she attended Scripps College in Claremont CA and received a degree from the University of Oklahoma.
She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, the Junior League of OKC, Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, and with her husband, several social clubs including the OKC Golf and Country Club.
She was the granddaughter of two Oklahoma pioneer families, the late Dr & Mrs D. D. McHenry and the late Mr & Mrs William Mee Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; her son, Stan; her daughter, Dana; her mother, Mrs William Mee Jr; and her brother, John McHenry Mee.
Services Thursday, 4 pm at Hahn, Street, Cook & Draper Chapel. Interment Rose Hill Cemetery. Suggested memorials would be the Oncology Dept of Presbyterian Hospital, or the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
