She was born in Clark County, Kentucky on October 14, 1931, to the late Joseph S. and Mary (Abney) Estes. She was a retired federal government budget analyst and a member and Deacon of Mt. Zion Christian Church, where she served on the church governing board. Mrs. Tudor also enjoyed the monthly luncheons with the Class of 1949 "49ers Club".
In addition to her parents and husband, Charles, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles A. "Chuck" Tudor, II, one brother Joe S. Estes and one sister, Gwendolyn Ford.
She is survived by three daughters, Carol Thomas (Don) and Cynthia Stover (Chuck), both of Richmond, and Lisa Middleton (Jeff) of Louisville; one sister, "Teddy" Webb (Harold) of Arizona; her grandchildren, Phillip Shannon Begley, William Christopher Begley, Samuel Todd Meeks, Emily Michelle Middleton, Sarah Ashley Middleton, Charles "Charlie" Stover, and Gillian Lee Stover, as well as three great grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Tudor will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2009, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Randy Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at the Richmond Cemetery.
