Rosina was born on November 25, 1877 to Bernard Depweg and Gasena Harting in Coldwater, Ohio. She was baptized two days later at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater. She was the couple's third child together, but Bernard's tenth overall, for he married Gasena shortly after his first wife died.
On July 23, 1901, she married John Ferdinand Geier at Saint Henry's Catholic Church in Saint Henry, Ohio. They had one son together, Elmer, in Dayton in 1903.
Rosina died of complications following a stomach operation at just 31 years old. She was buried at Calvary Cemetery following a Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
