Marlene Mader Wycoff, 73, Independence, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Mo.

She was born May 13, 1934, in Oakley to Ben and Mar (Weigel) Mader.

She married Richard Andrew Wycoff. He preceded her in death in 1975.

She was a bookkeeper.

Survivors include her companion, Peter Con Schwarzbek, Independence, Mo.; a son, Terry Wycoff, Scott City; a brother, Ben Mader, Wichita; four sisters, Janice Dachman, Las Vegas; Carol Mainville, Denver; Olita Jones, Colby; and Delores Fink, Wichita; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oakley; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Oakley. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday at Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, Oakley. A rosary and wake service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Marlene Wycoff Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
