Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Harry Steinert of Carson City, NV; and B.V. Steinert, Jr. of Wauneta, NE; one daughter, Vida Schulz of Denver, CO; one stepdaughter, Delores Gore of Paonia, CO; four sisters, Hulda Bitter and Elzenna Funk, both of Hoisington; Lorraine Kitson of Penrose, CO; and Ada Stremel of Gt. Bend; 16 grandchildren and 10 gt. grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sons, one sister and two grandsons. Burial in the Hoisington Cemetery.
