Obituary:
"Hoisington – Mrs. Hannah L. Steinert, 87, died Thursday afternoon (17 January 1974) at the Hoisington Hospital after a short illness. Born Feb. 17, 1886 at Milberger, she married David H. Steinert, June 15, 1905, at Milberger. He died Dec. 25, 1969. She was a lifetime resident of the Galatia-Hoisington communities. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hoisington.
Survivors include one son: Bernard V., Hildreth, Neb., five daughters, Mrs. Richard (Estella) Morgenstern, Galatia; Mrs. Herman (Elzenna) Funk, Otis; Mrs. Dan (Hulda) Bitter and Mrs. M. O. (Lorraine) Kitson, Hoisington; Mrs. Richard (Ada) Stremmel, Great Bend; one sister; Mrs. Mollie Tittle, Bazine; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. G. Weise officiating. Burial will be in Hoisington Cemetery. Friends may call at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, and at the church from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Friends may contribute to the memorial of their choice."
