Quincy Sattler, 49 of Ponca, AR, died Tuesday, January 12 at Carroll General Hospital in Berryville, AR.
He was born January 8, 1939 at Hilda, Texas, the son of Hugo and Margaret Schuch Sattler. He was self-employed farmer and heavy equipment operator. He was a Mason and a member of the Swain Lodge. He lived in Newton County most of his life.
He married Barbara Stamps on December 20, 1958 in Kingston, AR. Survivors include his wife Barbara Stamps Sattler, two sons and their spouses, Ricky and Joyce Sattler of Ponca, AR, Steve and Melissa Sattler, Harrison, AR, his parents, Mr & Mrs. Hugo Sattler of Doss, Texas, a brother, Glenn Sattler of Ponca, AR and two granddaughters, Kristin Richelle and Kimberly Allison Sattler of Ponca.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Tommie Sattler.
Services were at 2 p.m. Friday January 15, at the Mossville Church with Vernon Fowler and Rev. David Stratton Officiating. Burial was in the the Mossville Cemetary under the direction of Christeson Funeral Home.
