Elna Helen (Giese) Bohot, 94, of La Grange, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Monument Hill Nursing Home in La Grange.

Elna was born in La Grange, Texas on August 14, 1917, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Alma (Wessels) Giese. She married Roland Bohot on November 7, 1937 at Prairie Valley Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Mary Martha Guild and Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Ladies Aid. Some of her most cherished things in life were tending to her flowers, cooking, bowling, reading and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Roland Bohot; one son, Harvey Bohot and wife, Darlene of La Grange; two sisters: Marilyn Gest and husband, Delbert of La Grange and Ruby Sanders and husband, Joe of Marble Falls; four grandchildren: Julie Karstedt, Rene' Dayan, Melanie Peterson, Roger Bohot, and two step grandchildren: Wade Schwake, Tracy Schwake Gall and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Anita Foster and Lorine Raschke; and son, Wallace Bohot.
Survived by husband Roland.
