WELLS, Noreta, 74, of Brandon, passed away February 10, 2012. She was born October 4, 1937 in Flemingsburg, Kentucky to Elmer and Edythe Collins. Noreta worked for GMAC for 34 years. She was a member of The Daughters of 1812; Daughters of The American Revolution; Daughters of American Colonists; and the Brandon Area Genealogical Society. Noreta is survived by George, her husband of 53 years; her mother, Edythe Collins; daughter Toni Lynn Wells Brown and husband Jim; nephews, Mike Wells, Jim Wells and his wife Mary, who was a chosen daughter of Noreta; grand nephews, Jason (Fay), Matthew, William and Tyler Wells; grand nieces, Julia Allen (Jake), Madalyn Wells; great- grand nephew and niece, Collin Wells and Piper Allen; cousin Linda Murphy (Bill); and numerous friends. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Stowers Funeral Home. Heartfelt thanks are extended to Dr. Deborah Frank-Byrnes, and the wonderful personnel at Brandon Health and Rehab, and Home Instead.
