WELLS, Noreta, 74, of Brandon, passed away February 10, 2012. She was born October 4, 1937 in Flemingsburg, Kentucky to Elmer and Edythe Collins. Noreta worked for GMAC for 34 years. She was a member of The Daughters of 1812; Daughters of The American Revolution; Daughters of American Colonists; and the Brandon Area Genealogical Society. Noreta is survived by George, her husband of 53 years; her mother, Edythe Collins; daughter Toni Lynn Wells Brown and husband Jim; nephews, Mike Wells, Jim Wells and his wife Mary, who was a chosen daughter of Noreta; grand nephews, Jason (Fay), Matthew, William and Tyler Wells; grand nieces, Julia Allen (Jake), Madalyn Wells; great- grand nephew and niece, Collin Wells and Piper Allen; cousin Linda Murphy (Bill); and numerous friends. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Stowers Funeral Home. Heartfelt thanks are extended to Dr. Deborah Frank-Byrnes, and the wonderful personnel at Brandon Health and Rehab, and Home Instead. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tamasee DAR School, PO Box 8, Tamasee, S.C. 29686-0008. Stowers Funeral Home.
