"Molly"

Wife of Col. Louis Bell. They had three children Marion (1860), Louis (1862) died as infant, Dr. Louis (1864).

Molly's father was the well known Reverand Nathaniel Bouton of Concord, New Hampshire, and State Historian responsible for publishing a number of editions of the New Hampshire "State Papers".

Molly died of heart failure less than four months after her husband died of his wounds at Fort Fisher. It was said she died of a broken heart.
