George J. Ruff, Russell, Kansas - 86, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 1974, at Russell City Hospital. Born March 12, 1888, in Dietel, Russia, he married Ida Gunther, July 5, 1911, at Russell. He was a retired real-estate agent and lived here most of his life. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Russell.
Survivors are the widow; son, Eugene, Kansas City; daughter: Mrs. Clifton Pangburn, Corona Del Mar, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Sophia Wolf, Russell; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10:30am Friday at the church; Rev. Richard Robbins. Burial will be in Russell City Cemetery. Pohlman's Mortuary, Russell.
